Here is a suggested itinerary for the route starting and ending at Delhi Airport:

 

Day 1: Delhi Airport to Haridwar

Start your journey from Delhi Airport to Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, you can explore the vibrant and spiritual atmosphere of the city. Attend the evening Ganga Aarti on the banks of the sacred Ganges River. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot/Jankichatti

Leave Haridwar early in the morning. Stop at Rishikesh and then continue towards Yamunotri. Enroute, you can visit the famous Rishikesh attractions. Continue your journey to Yamunotri and stay at Barkot or Jankichatti.

Day 3: Yamunotri Temple Visit

Embark on an early trek to Yamunotri temple. Explore the sacred shrine and venture further to witness the actual source at a frozen lake, 3 km up. Return to Barkot/Jankichatti by late evening.

Day 4: Drive from Yamunotri to Gangotri via Uttarkashi

Enjoy a scenic drive from Yamunotri to Gangotri via Uttarkashi. Halt for the night at Uttarkashi/Harsil and relish the serene surroundings.

Day 5: Gangotri Temple Visit

Visit the magnificent Gangotri temple and witness the origin of the Ganga River at the Gaumukh glacier. Return to Uttarkashi/Harsil for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi/Harsil to Guptakashi/Sonprayag

Continue your journey towards Kedarnath Dham. Halt at Guptakashi or Sonprayag for the night and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Day 7: Trek to Kedarnath Temple

Embark on a scenic 18-kilometer uphill trek to the majestic Kedarnath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Stay overnight at Kedarnath.

Day 8: Return Trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag

Descend 18 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Proceed to Rudraprayag/Gopeshwar for a night’s stay.

Day 9: Rudraprayag to Badrinath via Joshimath

Drive alongside the Alaknanda River to reach Badrinath via Joshimath. Enjoy the picturesque journey and stay overnight at Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath Temple Visit

Offer prayers at Badrinath Temple and take a dip in the Tapt Kund hot springs. Proceed to Rudraprayag/Karanprayag for an overnight stay.
